If there's a way to use the tachometers along with the glass scales to improve 
accuracy over just using the scales... I'm hoping the scales are all good. 
They'll be getting flushed with Simple Green, rinsed with water then dried. 
That worked on an oil contaminated Anilam glass scale on a Bridgeport of about 
this same vintage.

I called Acra yesterday and they told me the serial number starting with 79 
meant it was made in 1990. Not quite as old as I thought.
