Hi, I am completely new to CNC, I got a chinese 6040 from ebay, replaced the controller box with a G540 and now I would like to get it all cabled up and working with linuxcnc :)
Would anyone with EMC and CNC experience in Sydney (I am 10km NW of the harbour bridge) be able to come by and help me set it up in my shed, happy to pay for petrol money and a suitable hourly rate? I have a good level of skills with computers but have never done anything with workshop tools (lathes, milling machines). Thanks for looking.
