That's definitely broken.  IIRC, I saw values like that when absolutely
nothing was connected to the analog input (not even a BeBoPr board with
a disconnected thermistor).

This sure sounds like nothing is connected to the analog input the
software is reading.  Make sure you are using the proper configuration
for your board (BeBoPr or BeBoPr-Bridge) as the analog inputs moved
between versions.  This could be all that's wrong.

You don't have to do anything but load the existing already compiled
kernel module.  It's fairly straight-forward.  But I think your problem
is with the input pin mappings.
