Its 2 or 4 hours early on this side of the small pond, but I'll second that, and add that what we are celebrating is an arbitrary date, assumed to be the date that a special baby was born on, in a stable in Bethlehem. A baby that grew up and taught us to be kind and tolerant although it is noted that he grew intolerant of the money changers in his house and threw them all out.
