I'd be very happy with another G-code for controlling this behaviour. I need something like this for a dispenser already, where it is required to decelerate slowly while applying a line of glue, so that the line gets thicker to the end. The workaround is now as you described with a "stair-step" shape, i.e. the line is simply divided into a few segments of decreasing feed. A built-in method for this would obviously greatly simplify the program. Instead of a G-code, I could also live with something more "exotic", like two F words on the same line. If the parser can handle this, of course. But the dedicated G-code is probably better when concerning compatibility to other interpreters.
