hello everyone,

Not sure how much interest you all might have in this subject, but just
finished
up a native Windows 32-bit build of the SourceForge APT360 project. The code is
checked in to the respective project. It is built using VS2008 and the project
files are in the repository.

A ZIP file containing a release build of APT360.EXE along with two rudimentary
postprocessors and some documentation can be found at:

http://aptos.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/aptos/apt360/apt360-1.0.2-windows-32-bit.zip

Though targeted for the Windows OS, this is still a command line version of
APT360. If you want to try building it yourself, you should be able to pull the
code from the repository and Microsoft has a free Visual Studio 2010 Express
C++
that *should* work.

Specific comments about APT360 should be posted to the respective list:

If you're not familiar with APT, it is a programming language for generating NC
programs (a/k/a G-code). There is another open source project at SourceForge
called VAPT that (as I understand it) provides some visualization for the APT
output. I hope to try it next.

Anyway, thought I'd pass it along. Many thanks to Brent (a/k/a crochet) for his
patience with me getting this running.
