Greetings;

It is not quite as I expected it to be, it seems both leds are on a common
substrate so they cannot be treated in the totem pole config I had in mind
for active drive in both directions.

Ditto the output side, supply and + source voltages are apparently hitting
the same cell substrate, both cells are used to crowbar the drive to
transistor the output, which itself is a 10k pullup from the collector of
the transistor. So it doesn't invert the signal.

So I have obtained 3 pink spade lug terminals, and only wired the single
output to where the arm of the speed pot would connect. The sparkfun board
are quite small, and it is currantly wedged between the three spade
terminals, being held by both friction and a glop of locktites goop on each
side. As the input buildout of the gemini driver is around 30k, that means
I will be getting around 9 volts for full on, I hope the gemini drivers
gain pot can fix that.

I don't know if that will reach full speed or not because I'm spending time
remounting the motor and jackshaft to reduce the push against the front
lower pulley flange. And I may yet order a belt at least 2 teeth longer if
this belt turns a ragged edge in a hurry because I have had to raise the
motor by around 3/16" so its hitting stuff on the covers.

My back is done for the day, but there are more cover mods to be made yet
before it will be ready to cover fully and power up. I get an MRI on the
back Tomorrow, its bugged me for 55 years now. Thats long enough to grin &
bear it.

Cheers, Gene
