There is interest in reviving the CNC workshop event that ran several years in Galesburg IL then in Ann Arbor MI. The Tech Shop in Allen park MI- a Detroit suburb, has offered to host the event. A meeting has been set to discuss the idea on Friday, April 25, following the setup of the NAMES show.
At this time it is strictly a discussion of the possibilities. If anyone on this list is in a position to attend the meeting please let me know and I will give you the details. I would like to get a feeling for the interest of the readers of this list in such an event. Do you see a place for LinuxCNC in such an event? If it was run about the same as before- a 2 or 3 day event with speakers and lots of open discussion and demos, and a registration fee of about $100 would you be interested?
