How do you have things wired? Do the drives have an opto-isolator on the input? Parports work better if you think of them as current sinks rather than voltage sources. Not knowing what your stepper-drive inputs look like I can't get more specific than that. -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
