Thank you Sebastian. I have a project on the lathe to finish, but will 
update before starting the next part.  Once I fixed my .ini file for a 
good RS274NGC preample, most everything has been behaving itself fairly 
well.  No crashes since I reformatted the drive and put the new iso on 
it. None, nada, zip.  I am encouraged again, but now my back gearing is 
dying. Squawling from a profound lack of lube someplace even in neutral.  
Tried to run some into it via one of the screw holes in the front face, 
ran back out the bottom.  Whole new head on order.  And it will be 
sealed this time.
