When relatives from Denmark visit Australia, they remark on the fact
that it takes 20 Hrs to fly here, and 2 hrs just to cross the city of
Melbourne after arrival. I've noticed it's 14 hrs to Los Angeles, the
other way. It's a good thing they feed you.

There's one easy way to tell. If you're woken up in the middle of the
night by a Wombat thumping and bumping about under the floorboards, then
you're not in Austria. On the other hand, I guess there's less yodelling
here.

I've been as far south in Bavaria as Bodensee. That can't be a helluva
long hike from Liechtenstein. The beer, the sausages, and the gentle
summers are worth a trip back there, I reckon.
