I used Draftsight for many years for television facility design. The macro language was wonderful! I used it to tie into excel & other programs, to manage cable lists, BOMs, and other needed documentation. I could make a change in one, and it would flow into the others. Then Autodesk bought them. They re-released it as AutoSketch, but without the macro language. The rumor at the time was that it was hurting Autocad sales & use of Autolisp. Ray M. --J.
