The real time functions must be placed on CPU without random unknown delays 
then everything will be fine. Some known delays from higher priority tasks 
should however be OK if they are short enough otherwise they belong to lower 
priority task or there is problem.

This would indeed be very good.

This is important for the economics. A few years old computers have more than 
enough computing power, a screen, keyboard and mouse if necessary. It is also 
likely old computers will be available if they break down.
