Greetings; Opening a blank screen by just running glade gets me a do nothing screen, none of the widgits in the left column can be dragged & dropped anyplace else.
Opening one of the .ui files I already have, it complains about a lack of gladevcp catalog in the first screen, then advises that the file I asked it to load failed because that file is targeted to 2.18 and this is glade 3.80. I have installed what looks like the usual suspects, but nothing synaptic is showing me has "catalog" in its name. Searching for catalog apparently is a ttf font named catalog. Is there any way to bring this stuff into the 2nd decade of this century? Even the Documentation.pdf seems to be discussing glade-gtk2, about 2.16, not 3.80. And apparently there is no backwards compatibility. Frustrating when I cannot even do anything with what I have in wheezy. This is also why I have been trying and with some help from 2 or 3 here, have made some progress with pyvcp, to the point it will be usable on down the road a bit with no further major changes needed now in the .xml code.
