I'd asked them about using a 7i92 to drive an RS485 transceiver, which would require 4 signals. They said the functionality was planned but no specific date.
I asked if it would just appear as a Com port, he said no it'd be a specific LinuxCNC driver. There's a "UART" listed on the 7i92's features. Actually since I have a hardware RS232/RS485 bridge I could still use that, if the config for it has been made. But I don't know if it has.
