I finally came up with a pretty small increment that is more the moving
of the left_z toward the bottom of it. And its pretty consistent as far
as it goes. The pretty small increment is because I tried a larger one
and didn't get thru the first pass. I am cutting thru the sides of the
quite deeply counersunk 6mm hold down bolt holes, and with the OEM
compound, there was enough give & bounce it caught and stopped the
spindle in one of the passing holes, breaking a 1/4" long piece off the
chip. But its been running for about 4 hours now, s/b done about dusk.
Nice pile of cast iron sand on the table. :)

But this is not the end yet, it needs to deepen the hollow on the next
pass.

Since that sudden stop was from about 240 rpm, I have confidence the glue
will still be holding when I pry it loose from the chucks face tomorrow
sometime. 3M Metal cement, got it at CVS. No clue how easy cleaning it
up will be.

Thanks.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
