Greetings all; Thee MPJA dials have 3 mounting bolts at 120 degree intervals.
Measuring across the nut flats on the outside of the flats, and adding that same flat to flat inside distance, * .5 gets me a center to center bolthole to bolthole distance of 43.835mm. That sort of trig escapes my aging wet ram, so how big (radius in mm's) is this bolt circle? It looks like a circle cutout of 42.7mm OD will clear the rear mechanics and will allow the base of these dials to sit flush on the face of the 1/2" thick apron sheet with nothing but the wiring (5 wires) to them "above grade" on the rear. The mounting bolts however are way too short for a 1/2" panel and will need counterbored from the rear to sink the nuts at least 6.8mm's so they sit about flush or a hair below the end of the mounting stud. Done right, it ought to look like I know what I'm doing to any visiting frogs. Gee, ya think? ;-) Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
