Once you have the system set up it should be easy to update LinuxCNC
from the Synaptic Package Manager.
But, I would expect that image to install LinuxCNC 2.7.11 anyway. What
makes you think that there are problems with Gmoccapy?
(If there are, then that should be driving another bug-fix release)
These bugs are fixed already in the latest release of Gmoccapy but the
version of Gmoccapy that was included in the build is very old (version
1.5.8) and we now stand at version 2.x.x already.
