Greetings all;
As you are aware by now, I try to keep my 2.8 pre's uptodate, 2 to 4x a
week.

At the initial startup, I am seeing this logged:

 twopass: sourcing: /tmp/GO704fast.hal.tmp
twopass: deleting: /tmp/GO704fast.hal.tmp
twopass: pass1:END
note: MAXV max: 2.500 units/sec 150.000 units/min
note: LJOG max: 2.500 units/sec 150.000 units/min
note: LJOG default: 1.500 units/sec 90.000 units/min
note: AJOG max: 50.000 units/sec 3000.000 units/min
note: AJOG default: 15.000 units/sec 900.000 units/min

Can anyone decode this re the MAXV, and LJOG's as to which axis its
advising me of?

AJOG seems obvious enough, and is because I am still fine tuning that
axis, have just re-enabled it a month ago. And its trying to convince me
that I need a more precise table (Its a 4", made in india) and needs a
nema 42 motor if expected to move while cutting. I had a heck of a time
making that kreg style drill bit, 3/4" OD that I needed to anchor the
guard rail posts for the wheel chair ramp in the front deck, and am
still half stove up from the muscle required to drive it 4" deep in the
sides of a treated 4x4.

FWIW, the accel of the rotary is still rather leasurely, at least a
second to get that 230 oz/in nema 23 up to around 500 motor revs. Or to
stop it at the end of a g0 move.

I gotta get a bigger, far more precisely made table. But where would I
put a harmonic driven table on a G0704? They are huge.
