If you are asking about the feasibility of repair, then yes, those two holes do not necessarily preclude repair. By the time you have removed all the conductive burned mess the holes will be bigger... But as long as the components have something to hold them in place then "dead bug" construction floating in air will work. Before PCBs everything was built that way: https://goo.gl/images/k2RcX5 And for very specialised applications, sometimes they stil are: https://hackaday.com/2015/02/10/the-one-million-dollar-scope-teardown/ -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1916 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
