It seems like it could be used on an inductosyn or resolver, but not terribly accurate and no quadrature output. But, the price is SURE good! Well, I guess I'll stick with the Analog Devices AD2S1200 that I use in my resolver converter. It has quadrature output and much better accuracy. I'm thinking the IDT part may be intended for manually-operated sensors.
