I had made up a gcode file of about 30 lines, to make the 10-24 threads on a new probe tip.
And I miss-calculated for k, which at the rate of advance chosen for r, meant it would take a couple days to run, and was no doubt out of memory most of the time. So now I'm on pass 2 of makeing a new shorter probe. Should have it done tomorrow. Pass 1 failed because the draw tube worked loose, letting the collet start wobbling. If this works, I'll get a stick of A2 and do it right. Embarrassing is what it is... Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
