I am off by a factor of 1000 a lot.... I haven't done a dual boot in a while - but remembering that it is the best to have the windows installed first and working. Then install linux - there was an option to use the remaining space for linuxcnc. IIRC - it just works... Grub installs and sees the windows partition and adds it as a boot option.
