Ie. Nothing appears to change to TRUE from FALSE. Or the other way around.
The F1 key (and on-screen button) will do nothing unless the
external input that shows the status of the
external E-stop circuit shows the OK condition. So, you
have to satisfy that external condition before
LinuxCNC will come out of the E-stop condition. You will
have to check the specific hal files you are using
to see where this comes from.
I use the hal component estop_latch in my configs, but that
is not used in all of the configs.
