That's why I'm slowly switching over to
http://en.bergerda.com/

Support has been good. Quality is nice. Price is decent. I'm replacing a 2HP
single phase spindle motor with an equivalent power 0-3000RPM AC Servo Motor.
Cheaper than a new VFD and 3 Phase 2HP Motor. And smaller.

When I finish the conversion I'll report on how well it went.

I've also got a 400W AC Servo that replaces a much larger Automation
Technologies Inc DC brushed servo with first US Digital and now CUI encoder.
Running with HP_UHU off a 105VDC power supply. All in all a much smaller
package running directly off 220VAC. And less money than the combination of
DC Servo, Encoder and power supply.
