I think that (other than _changing_ these dependencies) the solution is to
supply these packages via the LinuxCNC repository.
(We already do this for a few non-linuxcnc packages, for example there are
some gtk2 packages here:
http://www.linuxcnc.org/dists/wheezy/base/binary-amd64/ )
