Greetings all; I finally found somebody on ebay that actually wanted to sell some 3NM 3 phase closed loop steppers, so I now have 2 motors, 2 controllers, 2 48v 7.5 amp psu's and some compact SS nema 23 motor mounts, the latter coming from Germany. That should motorize the BS-1 and put a quiet drive on the Sheldons Z.
I don't care what I lay on the Sheldon, its in the chip pan or on the floor by the time that 1600oz has moved the carriage a foot.
