That convertor is a showstopper unless it is only the spindle that actually needs 3 phase, in which case I'd strip out the stuff that can run on 220 single phase, and put a much more efficient VFD on the spindle. Is the spindle already encoded? If decent resolution that would save a few sheckels. I'd have to measure and see if it would fit in the g0704's space, looks to be a bit too wide.
