I have a separate Mail archive, recovered from backups before that drive puked in December, that takes this and the devel list back to 2002 when I discovered the emc lists. But the diff is that I won't touch farcebook and its ilk with a 50 foot fiberglass pole. I also have not been hacked, I've had a router reflashed to dd-wrt between me and the cable modem for a couple decades. Yet every machine here has the run of the net. Even the rpi4 running my Sheldon lathe can fire up firefox to browse the world. dd-wrt does not allow incoming that one of my machines didn't request first. Security can be had, even with winderz. But I do not currently have one of those critters. :-)> [...] Take care and stay well Andrew.
