Hey Guys, working on getting a plasma setup. I have two THCAD-10's. I've read
the plasma-cnc-primer.html document. I had questions on how to wire up the
Other THCAD for touchoff.
Cutter: Hypertherm Powermax 100
Torch: Autocut S 105 (Made by Trafimet?)
I think the problem is the torch. It doesn't have a external isolated shield like on the Hyperterm torches. However, the nozzle of the torch is isolated from ground (I believe)
and is used for the pilot arc?
So, I have a few questions, Is this what should be connected to the THCAD-10?
Why is there an option Relay for the 24v supply.
Can this same 24v supply be used for other things, such as providing power for
the limit switches?
I did notice that the page stated, "We used a 15W Mean Well HDR-15 Ultra Slim DIN Rail Supply 24V DIN rail based isolated power supply.. This is a double insulated Isolation Class
II device that will withstand any arc voltage that might be applied to the terminals."
I picked up this PSU from automation direct for use for other things on the plasma.

Also, looks like they have a 390k resistor for the THCAD-5, but, I'm using a
THCAD-10. What size resistor needed?
