Andy,

I searched for how to enable SSL on a DreamHost hosted website and got this:

SSL-Enable Dreamhost website
To enable HTTPS on a DreamHost hosted website, you need to add an SSL
certificate to your domain through the DreamHost control panel, which can be
done by navigating to the "Secure Certificates" section, selecting your domain,
and choosing to add a free Let's Encrypt certificate or a paid Sectigo
certificate; DreamHost will automatically redirect your site to HTTPS once the
certificate is installed.
Key steps:
Access DreamHost panel: Log in to your DreamHost control panel.
Navigate to Secure Certificates: Go to the "Secure Certificates" page.
Select your domain: Choose the domain you want to add the SSL certificate to.
Add certificate: Click "Add" and select either a free “Let's Encrypt”
certificate or a paid Sectigo certificate.
Automatic redirect: Once installed, DreamHost will automatically redirect your
website to HTTPS.
Important points to remember:
No extra configuration needed:
For most cases, you don't need to make any additional changes to your website
code to force HTTPS redirection after adding the certificate.
Browser warnings:
If you don't have an SSL certificate, modern browsers will display a "Not
Secure" warning.
Checking your site:
Once you've added the certificate, access your website using "https://"; to
verify it's working correctly.
I don’t have access to the Dreamhost control panel so I couldn’t check it out
to see if it works.
Alan
