IDK, probably. But the last time I tried this new autotune pid, I let
all the smoke and mirrors put of my A axis servo motor, a $125 item, so
I removed the BS-1 it was driving, too slow anyway, and built a new A
axis using a 3 NM 3 phase closed loop stepper/servo, printed the adapter
and chuck for a 5/1 worm called an RVS-30 on ebay. Follows X perfectly
at 500 rpms! I've now built 2 of those, the other is B axis on my 6040
gantry mill, currently setup to finish cut a huge woodworkers vise
screw, both handier than bottled beer or sliced bread.
