I'm having issues getting a Mesa 7i92 (early version) running on a new
install (version 2.9.3):
- after several days of head-banging to get consistent network
configuration, I can consistently ping the card (does lose packets, and
shows intermittent delay times of up to ~2 seconds; I assume these are
due to running in user space).
- after establishing communications, I used halrun to manually issue
the setup commands that were generated by Pncconf:
halcmd: loadrt hostmot2
Note: Using POSIX realtime
hm2: loading Mesa HostMot2 driver version 0.15
halcmd: loadrt hm2_eth board_ip="10.10.10.10" config="num_encoders=1
num_pwmgens=0 num_stepgens=4"
hm2_eth: loading Mesa AnyIO HostMot2 ethernet driver version 0.2
hm2_eth: 10.10.10.10: INFO: Hardware address (MAC): 00:60:1b:12:07:cb

When I attempt to start LCNC, executing the the same commands in the
.hal file, I inevitably get failures:
Found file(REL): ./milldrill.hal
hm2: loading Mesa HostMot2 driver version 0.15
hm2_eth: loading Mesa AnyIO HostMot2 ethernet driver version 0.2

hm2_eth: ERROR: receiving packet: Resource temporarily unavailable
Shutting down and cleaning up LinuxCNC...
Any Ideas what might be going on?
Thanks
