Thanks.  I'll give that a go.

However before I do that I have to figure out why my tool setter now measures 
the tool at about 0.030" longer compared to the probe measuring the surface.  
Ie.  The tool after measuring and at zero is below the surface of the probed 
surface.  Not great for accuracy.

Must go through the whole process again of measuring the length of the probe, 
etc.  I can't use the tool setter to measure the probe length because the probe 
trips before the tool setter does.
