I opened an issue with melpa, and just got an email that it was fixed. So now it should be possible to get Emms from melpa or GNU ELPA. There will be a difference in regard to versioning between the two, but that isn't something we can fix without changing how we develop Emms. -- "Cut your own wood and it will warm you twice"
