----------empyre- soft-skinned space---------------------- http://hyperallergic.com/165346/behold-the-nazi-postcards-from-the-infamous-degenerate-art-show The Entartete Kunst exhibition always remind me of how powerful Art is as tool to perform changes. The gaze which the artists look at the world is a layer of meaning coming from the subconscient, from a kind of realm where reality becomes more complex and intricate than the one seen by others. It is maybe the thing people call "inspiration", the Musae or the Gods intervention. ISIS march through Lybia, another country deep derranged since the US and their allies topppled Gaddafi , tells about that as well. Their warfare is not ruled by the book, neither Geneva convention or any convention obliged them to follow any rules. Iraq and Lybias lack of intern cohesion since Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi disappeared, gives ISIS a fertile field for operations in the name of a diffuse caliphate as the word has not seen since Bagdad and Damascus ruled the world. ISIS are deeply anachronic, their voices comes from the ancient ages where states and modernity were not the norm. They are totally postmodern in their idea of a fragmented world where small tribale enclaves in a loose confederation gestionate themselves in a kind of autogestion. To me is Hakim Bey again, with his idea of TAZ, Temporay Autonomous Zone, very similar to the almost feodal kingdoms of the buccaneers carving their fiefs in the Caribean islands. Ana
