I've seen on OS X and iOS that sometimes at startup if the browser is not able to allocate the Emscripten heap, it is possible that it just crashes the whole browser, instead of being able to gracefully throw a JS exception. This is quite annoying, but unfortunately don't have a solution, except to try to minimise memory usage and the heap size to a smaller one. If it crashes in some other location after startup, then it could be some other type of bug.
