The 19th issue of MEA Bulletin includes reports on the signing of a joint work plan by the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Ramsar Convention, and the decision of the Parties to the Agreement on the Conservation of Small Cetaceans of the Baltic and North Seas (ASCOBANS) to merge the Secretariats of UNEP/ASCOBANS and UNEP/Convention on Migratory Species (CMS). This issue also previews the January-June 2007 calendars for each of the MEAs we follow. The guest article reviews the objectives and innovative features of the Protocol on Water and Health to the Convention on Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes.
