Before accessing any site which provides online services for abuse
survivors, please read the information on the following web sites. Many
passionate and enthusiastic persons have established Internet sites with
links to chat groups. Some of these sites have "guest books" where
messages can be posted. A posting in one of these locations could provide
information to an abuser about the whereabouts or activities of a survivor
and place that person at great risk of harm. Please encourage survivors to
exercise great care when seeking help online.
