Hello classes: I apologize profusely that we have had trouble getting essays copied and have had to rely on email to distribute them. I know there has been some difficulty getting them read as a result. But please, if at all possible, read your classmates' essays before class so that we can keep having lively discussions. Also, the written responses are a requirement. I had hoped to just rely on the honor system, but if only half a dozen are turned in tomorrow, I will start checking them. Please come up with some additional information, such as how the topic relates to your life, that could be useful as the authors further consider the topic and rewrite.
