~lisa presented her half of the project first addressing the issues of:
-how mental illnesses are portrayed
-spirtualism
-marriage
-advertising
-different races
~bert then presented his material focusing on sitcoms in the 70s
-"All in the Family" and Vietnam & other controversial topics that were
not yet common in the 70's
-"Hogan's Heros" and WW2 etc.
-"Welcome Back, Kotter" and education
-"Family Affair" and single parents
-also addressed controversial topics in general
-do we draw a line on what to address and what not to?
