Patch Set 1: Take a look at the first patch set in this change. It contains the changes to codegen and the changes to the generated code (I included this by accicent). I think that the changes to the code generator and the changes to the generated code shouldn't be in the same patch. The reason is that it is then harder to backport the changes to the code generator to other branches.
