Patch Set 4: Good question Yair. In fact the notifier can't be installed without the engine, and (to some degree) the engine can't be installed without the notifier. These are consequences of how we package them and of how the notifier gets the database connection parameters. I was thus making the assumption that they are always collocated. If we want to make the notifier able to run in a different machine there are quite a few changes that will be needed.
