Patch Set 2: Looks good to me, but someone else must approve If I understand correctly the advantage of this change is that the check loop will finish almost immediately (one second after) when there are no async tasks or compensations left. Currently it can take 180 seconds. Other than that it doesn't change the behavior. Is that correct Sandro?
