Not exactly. it was a mistake though, before the ssh feature was done.
During edit host operation we disabled the option to edit -
username,password,ip,port, and authentication_method fields. The default is
using the public key that already stored on the destination host. This was
fixed in the ui and described in
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1003281
