Wasn't sure what to title this one but I am seemingly running in an
issue do to my lack of knowledge around GPG or the enigmail software.

To start with my current setup has my mail provider GPG encrypt and send
emails to me that are then unencrypted with my key when they arrive.
When using a mail client this causes some issues I have noticed around
mail that has a content-type of protocol="application/pgp-signature" (I
belive this seems to be the common issue between all the messages). When
I go to open up mail that has this content type I get unverified
signature even after importing and trusting they key. I double checked
that the imported key was set to full via the command line as well.
Additionally if I copy and past the PGP message into a file and
unencrypt it myself using the same key I use for enigmail it works fine
and I can see the content.

Is the message being GPG encoded and then the plain text including a
signature with it causing enigmail to become confused. Is this not a
supported workflow? When I open the messaged in the web client
everything works fine and I can read the messages.

Thanks for your time.
