IIRC I've used the Preferences -> Advanced -> Additional parameters for GnuPG setting to specify a --local-user for this. (Rationale: for a key-signing event I wanted to send someone a proof that I owned the master key, not just the subkey.) -- Eli Schwartz Arch Linux Bug Wrangler and Trusted User
