The implementation has started off from the existing Enigmail code, and you can still see quite a bit of it. But certain things are obviously new or different. I will continue to support Enigmail for Thunderbird for at least 6 months after the release of TB 78. Depending on how many users will hold back upgrading from TB 68, I might also extend that period. Furthermore, I will continue to develop and maintain Enigmail for Postbox; likely for several more years. -Patrick
