Enlightenment CVS committal Author : sebastid Project : e17 Module : libs/ecore
Dir : e17/libs/ecore/src/lib/ecore Modified Files: ecore_exe.c Log Message: The const char *arg and subsequent ellipses in the execl, execlp, and execle functions can be thought of as arg0, arg1, ..., argn. Together they describe a list of one or more pointers to null-terminated strings that represent the argument list available to the executed program. The first argument, by convention, should point to the file name asso- ciated with the file being executed. The list of arguments must be terminated by a NULL pointer, and, since these are variadic functions, this pointer must be cast (char *) NULL. =================================================================== RCS file: /cvsroot/enlightenment/e17/libs/ecore/src/lib/ecore/ecore_exe.c,v retrieving revision 1.6 retrieving revision 1.7 diff -u -3 -r1.6 -r1.7 --- ecore_exe.c 20 Oct 2004 17:51:27 -0000 1.6 +++ ecore_exe.c 27 Apr 2005 14:30:36 -0000 1.7 @@ -51,7 +51,7 @@ return exe; } setsid(); - execl("/bin/sh", "/bin/sh", "-c", exe_cmd, NULL); + execl("/bin/sh", "/bin/sh", "-c", exe_cmd, (char *)NULL); exit(0); return NULL; } ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tell us your software development plans!
