Hi,

I'm trying to compile Eterm 0.9.2 (cvs Eterm failed with an unexpected token
on line 10624 of configure) - and it can't find libast_malloc in -last!!! So
annoying, I don't know what to do. Here is the output from configure:

checking for libast-config... libast-config
checking for libast_malloc in -last... no
ERROR: You need LibAST 0.5 or higher to build Eterm. If you already have it,
        you may have it installed in a strange place, or you may need to run
        /sbin/ldconfig. If you don't have it, I can download it for you.
        Shall I retrieve and build LibAST now (y/n)?
n
configure: error: Fatal: libast not found.

([EMAIL PROTECTED]:libast)# ldconfig -v | grep -i ast
        libwraster.so.2 -> libwraster.so.2.2.0
        libast.so.5.4 -> libast.so.5.4
        libast.so.2 -> libast.so.2.0.0

I've tried ./configure --with-libast=[correct dir], --libdir=, etc... Why
won't it find libast_malloc? I've been using Eterm for years, and I've never
had this problem!!!

Please help,
Ryan
